How to use

How to take this medicine

Please read all of the enclosed leaflet for full instructions.

For Oral Administration. Always use the measuring cup supplied with the pack.

Shake the bottle before use.

Age How much to take How often to take
Adults and children aged 16 years and over: 20ml To be taken just before going to bed.
Children aged 12 to 15 years: 10ml to 15ml To be taken just before going to bed.

Do not give to children under 12 years of age.

Do not take more medicine than the label tells you to.
If you do not get better, talk to your doctor.
Do not take for longer than 3 days.

Hazards and Cautions

Before you take this medicineDo not take:

  • If you are allergic to any of the ingredients in Boots Night Cold & Flu Relief Oral Solution

  • If you have kidney or liver problems

Do not take with any other cold and flu or decongestant products.

Avoid alcoholic drink.

This medicine can make you feel sleepy. Do not drive while taking this medicine until you know how it makes you feel. See the leaflet inside for more information.
Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children.Do not give to children under 12 years of age. Do not take more medicine than the label tells you to. If you do not get better, talk to your doctor. Do not take for longer than 3 days.Contains Paracetamol.Do not take anything else containing paracetamol while taking this medicine.Talk to a doctor at once if you take too much of this medicine, even if you feel well.Storage
Do not store above 25⁰C. The bottle should be stored in the outer carton (in order to protect from light).

Ingredients

Active ingredients: Each 20ml of oral solution contains the active ingredients: Paracetamol 1000mg, Promethazine Hydrochloride 20mg and Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 15mg.It also includes the following inactive ingredients: Ethanol, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Citrate, Liquid Maltitol (E965), Patent Blue V (E131), Citric Acid Monohydrate and Quinoline Yellow (E104).
This product is sugar free.
