Boots Rehydration Treatment blackcurrant flavour. This medicine contains Glucose and various salts which act to relieve short term (acute) diarrhoea and replace lost salts and fluids, in order to prevent dehydration.

How to use
Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use.

Mix the contents of each sachet with 200ml (seven fluid ounces) of fresh drinking water.
For infants use only freshly boiled and cooled water at all times.
This medicine should be used within 1 hour , but if refrigerated, can be kept for up to 24 hours.
Drink the solution.
Adults, the elderly and children of 12 years and over: Take 1 or 2 sachets dissolved in water after each loose bowel movement.
Children of 1 to 12 years: Take 1 sachet dissolved in water after each loose bowel movement.
Infants under 1 year: Do not give this medicine unless a doctor tells you to. Follow the instructions in the leaflet or on the sachet if this applies to you.
Hazards and Cautions
Do not take or give more than the amount recommended above.
Do not take this medicine for more than 24 to 48 hours.
If your diarrhoea does not go away within 24 to 48 hours talk to your doctor.
If you need more advice ask your pharmacist.
Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children.
Storage:
Store below 25ºC.
Store in a dry place.

Active ingredients: Each sachet contains: Citric acid anhydrous 0.128g, glucose monohydrate 3.58g, potassium chloride 0.30g, sodium chloride 0.47g, sodium citrate dihydrate 0.39g. Also contains: Aspartame (E951, a source of phenylalanine).
