xJohnstone’s Matt Emulsion is a high opacity, low odour, water based paint for use on interior walls and ceilings. It provides a smooth, durable matt finish that is wipeableand is ideal for use on new plaster. Key Features: Can be used straight onto new plaster Durable, wipeable finish Low odour Preparation and Application: Ensure that the surface to be painted is sound, clean, dry and free from grease. Remove all loose paint and wall coverings. Seal absorbent surfaces with a solution of up to 1 part water to 4 parts Johnstone’s Matt emulsion. Glossy surfaces should be rubbed down with fine waterproof abraisve paper and rinsed thoroughly to provide a key. avoid the inhalaion of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding. Stir well before use. Apply paint evenly by brush or roller and avoid overspreading. Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. Do not apply in temperatures below 10ºC or in damp conditions
