All our honey is cold extracted, cold filtered and unblended to protect the natural proteins and enzymes that make honey a super food.
The hives are placed on the moors of northern England, during the late summer when the whole landscape is covered with purple heather blossom, to produce one of natures wonders, Heather Honey. The result is a rich aromatic toffee flavour. This is a perfect accompaniment drizzled onto cheese and is traditionally served with it after a meal, Great for cooking where a good flavour is required or just perfect on hot buttered crumpets.
Please note that this honey can vary n texture where it can be said not to be either clear or set, just one more of its unique properties.
